Rev. Dr. Brenda Smith is founder and president of The Glory Ministry, She is an experienced minister, missionary, and evangelist who has traveled in Panama, Costa Rica, San Blas Islands, Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, and is currently establishing a ministry presence and office in Uganda. She is looking for those who will stand with her in prayer and who will join their hearts with hers to reach people for the Kingdom of God. She also invites others to prayerfully join with her as a partner through the means of financial support. Rev. Brenda is a single mother of 3 grown children, and a grandmother to 9. She currently resides in Gladwin, Michigan.
Apostle Deus Mbyehuzya is the Vice President and Missions Coordinator for the African office for The Glory Ministry. Currently he is the overseer at Ebenezer Amazing Glory Church located in Rwamabondo, Ntungamo, Uganda. He is active in church planting, holding revival services, and conferences all over East Africa. He has a dynamic preaching ministry and has great faith to believe for the miraculous. His heart is to bring the power and joy of the Holy Spirit everywhere he goes. He currently directs the orphanage, The Glory Childcare Project, in Rubindi, providing food, school fees, and clothing for children who have lost one or both parents with a vision to lift them out of the poverty that life has them in. Presently, The Glory Childcare Project has two housing units and is helping 18 vulnerable children. Apostle Deus is married, has 6 children, and 1 grandaughter
Cheryl McDuke Nyarko is the General Treasurer on the board and Personal Assistant to Rev. Brenda Smith as well as being her daughter, Christian sister, and friend. Having extensive experience on the mission field since a child, Cheryl is a great asset and blessing to this ministry. She helps assist Rev. Brenda with whatever needs to be done at the moment, from office work to fundraising. She has traveled abroad since she was 12 years old, bringing encouragement and joy everywhere she has served. Cheryl is married to her husband of 14 years, Richard McDuke Nyarko, whom she met on the Ghanaian mission field as a youth, and is the mother of four girls. She currently is raising her children as a stay at home mom but her future plans include continuing the ministry the Lord started in her when she was just a child, after her children are raised. She and her husband reside in Gladwin, Michigan.
Like many leaders, Rev. Robert Wood wears many hats. As a Pastor, he heals and directs the hearts of many believers within the body of Christ. As our Public Affairs Director, he guides our ministry to the public with order and great attention to detail. As our Promotions Director, he presents our ministry to the public in an upbeat and lively manner, bringing promotional ideas and activities that we hope you find appealing and feel welcome to attend. Rev. Robert has a long history of leadership starting many years ago as a Boy Scout camp counselor for 3 years and as a Troop Leader for 6 years. He joined the U.S. Navy and served for seven years. During his first tour of four years, he served aboard the USS Enterprise. Traveling around the world, he visited Spain, Italy, Philippines, Hong Kong, Australia, South Korea, France, and Kenya. Rev Rob then served 3 years at Fleet Aviation Specialized Operations (FASO) at Moffett Field, CA. He later worked in the transportation industry for 20 years. He has started his own ministry back in 2005 and is currently devoting his time and efforts to assist us here at The Glory Ministry.
